Just too much for a coincidence...

OK, so it has been a very long time since I really got stuck into writing on my blog and in all honesty, it may be a long while again...

But something that struck out for me is the glory of God and the sense of humour he has. To non-Christians this will merely seem as a very far fetched coincidence, but as a Christian this really shows the glory and grace of God.

To begin with, I needed 3 B's in order to get onto my course at University...I got 1 B and 2 C's, so you would think that I wouldn't make it onto my course...well wrong...Wham! God showing number one of his incredible grace.

Number two: After looking for a church in Eastbourne to go to while at University I find an amazing church called Kings Church which has a general church population of around 600 people...that's a lot of people to say the least. But, out of these 600 people there is one in particular that really demonstrates the glory of God...out of all the churches in Eastbourne, and there are a lot, out of all the places in Britain I could have gone to University, again there are a lot...I came to Eastbourne and to this Church, both of which are the same as this one man who is a BBC Journalist, right in the church...AND what course am I doing...Sports Journalism....Number two I think!

Number three: OK, so at the moment I made it into University when in all rights I shouldn't have and more than that at the same church I go to there is a man who is a Journalist for the BBC which is just too coincidental for my liking...but even now the sceptics and cynics alike may start to be thinking there is something in this. Well, after meeting this one man within the church, I not only found out that he was a Journalist for the BBC, BUT he was born in the same town as me, Poole. Lived on the same road as me, Fernside Road. He became a Christian in the same church that I belong to back home, Poole Christian Fellowship. AND went to the same school as me, Poole Grammar School....Number three surely!?

To me this really shows the glory of God, the wonder and amazement that when you just start to think you may have things sorted out, you may start to think you know what is going on...God has a way of really surprising you and really putting you back in your humbled place!
